¹⁸ Now ^(A)Bethany was near Jerusalem, about ^[a]two miles off; ¹⁹ and many of ^(B)the Jews had come to ^(C)Martha and Mary, ^(D)to console them concerning their brother. ^20 (E)Martha therefore, when she heard that Jesus was coming, went to meet Him, but ^(F)Mary ^[b]stayed at the house.
